	w889c	HAC/Junghans Portico Pillar Pendulum Shelf Clock c.1900 This is a fine quality HAC Junghans 8 day pendulum clock in good all original condition. The fine mahogany case is 29 cm high including the floral arrangement finial x 21 cm wide x 9 cm deep. The dial is approximately 6 cm in diameter, it has some aging (which does not detract for the overall look of the clock). It has a very unusual band of brass columns mounted on wood which adds to the beautiful design of this handsome clock. There is a slight dent in the wood as can be seen in the pictures. It features a white dial with arabic numerals and three small dials at 12, 3 and 9 for the date, month and weekday. The moonphase is at 6 o'clock and there is an outer minute track. The dial is 14.2 cm in diameter and the clock is fitted with a high quality quartz moonphase movement. The clock is 16 cm x 14.5 cm x 6.5 cm. 	w300c	French Mahogany Case Enamel Dial Mantle Clock c.1900 This is a quality French clock in good condition and working order. It has a fine mahogany case with 2 brass pillars and a white enamel dial which is in excellent condition. The clock is 35.5 cm wide x 24 cm high x 14.3 cm deep and the enamel dial is 12.7 cm in diameter. The striking pendulum movement has a makers mark and "Made in France" with the numbers 70838. 	w247c	HAC Mantle Clock in Oak Case c.1902 This is a classic clock in all original condition. The enamel dial is 8.2 cm and is in very good all original condition. The oak case is 30.2 cm high x 14 cm deep x 21.3 cm wide. The movement and the gong support both have the crossed arrows trademark of the Hamburg American Clock Company or HAC. The pendulum movement strikes on the hour and 1/2 hour. Price: £250 HAC was formed in Germany in 1873 by Paul Landenberger and Phillip Lang. The initial company was known as Landenberger & Lang Uhrenfabrik. Landenberger was the son-in-law of Erhard Junghans and worked at Junghans for some years before starting up his company. His company was involved in the production of clock movements, clock parts, dials and cases for all types of clocks. The company changed it's name to Hamburg Amerikanische Uhrenfabrik and Hamburg American Clock Company (HAC) in 1883. The famous crossed arrows became their trademark in 1892 at which time the company started producing clocks such as mantle clocks, longgcase clocks, wall clocks, ships clocks and specialized industrial clocks. These clocks were mainly for export to particularly to Great Britain and North America. They also continued supplying decorative parts for example: dials, cases, spare parts and hardware for the clock industry. The company was a major producer of clocks in Germany. In 1930 they merged with Junghans.

	w593c	The New Haven Clock Co. Banjo Wall Clock c. Early 1900s A New Haven Clock Co. Banjo clock in good condition and working order. The back has the original sticker explaining how to set the clock and wind the 8 day movement. The name of this particular clock seems to be 'Winsome'. It has a mahogany case and is 62 cm high (24.5") x 22 cm wide (8¾"). The replacement dial is 13 cm in diameter. The painted scene is of the Whitehouse surrounded by trees and is in good condition some parts have detached from the glass as can be seen in the pictures. The movement has the New Haven Clock Co. logo and the #334. It is unusual to find the painting of the White House. Jaeger S.A., Paris, an associate company. The two Jaeger companies, the French and the English, were owned by a number of French and Swiss nationals and companies. In 1928 A.B.E.C. Ltd.
