This is a vintage silver plated Mappin & Webb ladle in good condition.  It is 19 cm long and has just a little wear on the top of the handle which is hardly noticeable.  It is probably a gravy or fruit ladle.

A beautifully designed set using John Lennon's drawings. The plate is 23.4 cm x 14.7 cm and the set is mint and boxed.  Made by Coalport (Wedgewood) for it's 'Characters' range.  This set was discontinued some years ago.

John Lennon was may things to many people: singer, songwriter, poet and political activist.  To his son Sean Lennon he was his Daddy, a role he took on with as much humour, intensity and enthusiasm as any he had tackled.  When John and Sean played together they would often draw pictures like the ones featured in this wonderful set.  It was the way John taught Sean about the simple joys of creativity.  It was also one of the many ways he was able to express his real love for his son.

A Lucky horse shoe with Scotland shield stand with 6 whisky tot measure glasses in the shape of tankards.  The shield is hard plastic.  It is 26.5 cm high.

This is a superb metal model of a Jaguar XK 120 with a clock set in the roof.  It is 16.5 cm long in excellent new condition.  It is a fabulous Jaguar collectible based on the Jaguar XK 120 which had a straight 63442cc engine, 160 bhp at 5000rpm.  It usually had manual transmission.  The chassis was made in a box section and the suspension was independent front and leaf spring in the rear.  Breaks were hydraulic drum and the top speed was 200 km/h.

This is a rare and unusual Striker in good all original condition.  The metal penguin is 10.5 cm high and is standing next to a metal striker on a green bakealite base which is 1.8 cm high x 15.4 long x 7.8 deep.  There is a slight dent on the penguin's head which does not detract from this wonderful pure deco Item.

A very unusual metal fish door knocker in good condition, 14 cm long.  The fish is the symbol for restoring balance in your life. Fish in general are considered to be good luck charms.  In China, they're also seen as a symbol of plenty and good luck.

This is a wonderful bisque ornament portraying 3 penguin musicians in good condition.  Made in Japan.  The ornament is 5.2 cm high x 6 cm wide.

This is an amusing porcelain figure of a bulldog with an ashtray on his back.  He is in good all original condition.  The figure is 5.7 cm high x 9.5 cm long x 8 cm wide.  The image on the ashtray is of Barry Island, gardens, promenade and beach.  Probably made in Japan.

An unusual wood music box in the shape of a small chest by Tallent.  It is in good all original condition and working order.  Made in England by Tallent.  We do not recognise the tune which is lively (a waltz?). The chest is 18.8 cm x 8.5 cm x 7.5 cm high.  Probably made as a trinket box. There is a small nick in the back and a couple of marks from age on the top as can be seen in the pictures.

This is a humorous set of salt and pepper shakers, probably made in Japan.  They are in the shape of two outside toilets with the writing on the doors "C I'M FULL OF P" and "C I'M FULL OF S".  The pepper has a hairline crack around the sides and back which does not detract. They both have replacement plastic stoppers.  They are 6.4 cm high x 5 cm wide x 4.2 cm deep.

This is a fabulous porcelain decanter in good all original condition.  It has the names of newspapers such as "Point de Vue Images du Monde, Paris Match, Daily Express, France-Soir, Le Figaro, Revue, The Daily Telegraph and ABC".  It is 26 cm high including the stopper.   The stopper has gold plated trim.

A lucky bisque black cat with green eyes and a couple of whiskers.  He has his back up and seems to be hissing.  He is 8.7 cm high x approx. 9.5 cm long in good condition.

This is a superb antique brass and metal panel on green marble.  The panel is superb with the scene of "The Last Supper" by Leonardo Da Vinci.  It is 9.6 cm x 7 cm.  The marble back is 13.1 cm x 10.5 cm x 1 cm thick and is on a brass plate with brass stand.  Surrounding "La Cene" are cherubs.  There are  5 chips in the marble which do not detract from the overall beauty of this finest quality item

This is a superb and delicate glass raindrop 14 cms long with a lovely fairy in silver metal holding onto it.  The fairy is 4.6 cms long.  It is a hanging ornament which looks wonderful in the sunlight.  Made in England.

A metal frog sitting on a rock of Serpentine in good all original condition.  The frog is in wonderful detail.  The whole paperweight is 8.5 cm high with the frog being 3.5 cm high.

This is a superb large frog with a baby frog on it's back.  The detail is amazing on this Netsuke.  It is 5.5 cms x 4.8 cms in excellent condition.

Stephenson's Rocket

A superb brass model of Stevenson's Rocket on a wooden plinth.  It is in good condition,  a few age spots on the brass which add to the realistic look.  The model is 30 cms long x 24 cms high x 7.8 cms wide and the plinth is 32.7 cms x 12 cms.  This model was probably made in the 1960's.

Pair of Small Brass & Celluloid Opera Glasses c.1920s

This is a superb pair of opera glasses.  They are in brass with celluloid trim.  The brass is in good condition as are the lens,  the celluloid on the right side has split as can be seen in the picture.  They are 9 cms wide.  It's a wonderful pair of opera glasses!

Rare Smitty Bisque Nodder c.1920's Early American Comic Strip Character

Early American Comic Strip Character, Smitty is in very good all original condition.  He has the original string holding his nodding head.  These German bisque nodding character dolls are highly sought after and this is a particularly fine example.  He is 9 cms high and still 98% of his color,  there is just a small discoloured patch on each shoe as can be seen in the pictures. There seems to be a very fine crack on his head which is only noticeable under a very bright light or magnifier.   He still has all his freckles.  He would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

This is a display box of 12 minerals from Cornwall.  The box is 11.7 cm x 9.8 cm x 2 cm deep.  Each mineral is approximately 1.5 cm.  It contains specimens of: Tourmaline, Chalcopyrites, Felspar, Serpentine, Arsenopyrites, Amethyst, Fluorspar, Quartz, Muscovite Sphalerite, Iron Pyrite and Jasper.

The crystal flask is in perfect condition, the leather case has some staining but is in very good condition. The cup has a dent (as you can see in the picture). It is 15.5cms x 8.25cms x 4.5 cms. This flask is made in England.

This is a fascinating plate showing the 51 States + 3 unincorporated territories.  Made by Parksmith Corp. N.Y.C. Made in Japan.  It has the original sticker on the back.  The plate is 27.5 cms,  in good condition.  There is a slight knick on the right of the eagle as can be seen in the pictures and the edge has been slightly restored.

This is an amazing find! A pure retro tray in excellent near mint all original condition.  It is 42.5 cms x 22 cms with a formica base and plated nylon thread around the edge which includes the handle with 8 red beads on either side.  There are the recipes for:  Bloody Mary, White Lady Cocktail, Manhattan Cocktail, Martini Cocktail, Sidecar Cocktail and Prairie Oyster Cocktail.

This is a fabulous model made as a Shell Promotion. It is in excellent condition. The doors, engine cover and bonnet open. The car is made of metal on a plastic base and is 20 cms long.

This is a shield presented to Air Vice Marshal D.W. Hann, 11/12 February 1985 from Brig Gen Hugh L. Cox, Commander, NAEWF E-3A Component. The shield has "Nato, Awacs, E-3 A Component" on the front and is in good condition. There is some paint loss on the Awacs which does not detract from the overall look. The shield is 22 cms x 18 cms.

Night Watch Light c.1950's

This is a most unusual night light /  watch stand in good condition and working order thpough the switch occasionally sticks.  It is in the shape of the number "2" in cream coloured bakealite and metal.  It is battery operated.  It is 11.5 cms high x 5.4 cms wide x 9.2 cms deep.  The base is signed "Pifco,  Registered  Design #911223,  Empire Made".  It looks exactly like the "2" from BBC 2.

This is an early wood figure of Henry with a cigarette standing with the base which has a hole for an ashtray and the base is 10 cms x 20.5 cms. He is in very good condition, the color on the right side is brighter than on the left as can be seen in the pictures. There is a small nick at the back of the base. There is some writing on the base which is indecipherable.  This is a fabulous early American Comic Strip Character collectable and an amazing find!

"Created by Carl Anderson, by sheer accident Henry attained world-renowned status as one of the great pantomime comic strips in the tradition of Otto Soglow's The Little King.

At first, Henry spoke but a few words of dialogue, then Anderson decided to have him express himself through pantomime. Henry was so popular that it was often reprinted in the foreign press. In fact, it was because William Randolph Hearst saw a German translation of Henry in 1934 that he quickly signed Anderson into syndication with King Features Syndicate. The next year, the first Henry Sunday page appeared and the silent little lad went on to star in a Fleischer Studios animated film and a book. "

This is a fabulous Charlie Chaplin collectable item.  Charlie is 23.6 cms high and is in very good all original condition.  His bowler hat is the cap of the talcum powder bottle.  The bottle still contains some powder.

This is a wonderful Deco Glass dish on a metal stand.  A dancer is dancing on the base of the dish.  It is in good all original condition.  The glass dish is in perfect condition, the stand has some nicks in the paint and has been slightly pushed in behind the dancer but this does not detract from the look of this  wonderful item. The glass plate is 20.5 cm in diameter. The stand is 17.5 cm high, the dancer is 9 cm high.
