This is the rare RAC/Sun Rally Mini-Cooper 'S' in good all original condition.  It comes with a reproduction box.  There are a few dings on the paint work as can be seen in the extremely close-up pictures.

This model was a replica of the car driven by Tony Fall and Mike Wood, who although coming fifth, were in fact the first British crew home in thes RAC/Sun Rally, held at the end of 1966.  The model was, in outward appearance, similar to the previous Monte Carlo models released, but was fitted with an additional sump guard, which was becoming very necessary in these Rallies.  It also bore the legend 'RAC International Rally Sun' rally plate and numbers and was fitted with no less than 6 jewelled lights, 2 headlights and 4 smaller spotlights.  The racing number was '21'.  The model was packed in a standard 225 Austin Seven box with label over.  As a single model it only appeared on the order forms from February to September 1967, after which it would disappear for ever.

This Mini Cooper 'S' Monte Carlo rallye was the last model to have jewelled headlights.  It is in fair to good condition as can be seen in the pictures.  It has the number 177 on both doors and 2 spare wheels on the roof rack.

This is the rare Monte Carlo Mini-Cooper 'S' autographed on the roof by Timo Makinen and his co-driver Paul Easter, driving #2.  The white roof of the car was silk-screened to carry their autographs.  This model is in good all original condition,  unboxed.
