This is an interesting book on make-up by Eric Ward.  It has a hard cover and is in good all original condition.  There are 79 pages which have yellowed around the edges and are slightly brittle. The book does not seem to have been used.  It is 18.3 cm x 12.3 cm.  Original copyright 1930, this revised edition 1949. It is a fascinating book which aims to teach the way to do professional make-up.  It has interesting drawings and pictures detailing the methods with examples.

A rare book published by Greenberg, N.Y. 1946.  A First Edition  in very good condition with dustwrapper.  It has a green hardback cloth cover.  The dustwrapper has a couple of tears and the edges are scuffed which does not detract from the book. Laugh and Draw with Jefferson Machamer: Who Shows You How To Create and Sell Comic Art is a wonderful book which is  illustrated throughout with Machamer's cartoons and comic art in black and white. It is a wonderfully humorous step by step quide to cartoon drawing.  The book is 28.5 cm x 22 cm. There are approximately 110 unpaginated pages.

This is a wonderful and very 'Osé' (saucy) Arts Review magazine dated February 20, 1920. Vol. 1 No. 17.  There are 30 pages of fascinating facts,  stories, information etc.. with colour plates and many wonderful cartoons + a 'supplement' of 6 pages of wonderful adverts. The main journal has some wonderful pictures, articles and stories eg:  Pan's Parable, From Cabbages to Kings, Pan About Town, Somebodies and Nobodies, The Letters of Eve, Letters of Sympathy by Basil MacDonald Hastings, Pan at the Play, Pan's Pipings, A Cry from the Café, Much Reading (which includes books of the week), My Box by Pandora.   Short stories "Ski=er Swank by Keble Howard, "Atalanta in Caledonia" by Ashley Sterne, A Domestic Dialogue by Adrian Brunel..  The centre picture "Not At Home" specially drawn for Pan by George Whitelaw.  There are many other stories, fascinating tit-bits, wonderful advertising etc... etc... etc....  The journal is in fair condition,  the cover is stained from age and there are some small tears at the edge which do not detract from the superb picture.  The staples are rusty but have not stained the pages.  It is 30.5 cms x 25 cms.

These are superb old cotton bale stickers in perfect unused condition.  They are 24.5 cms x 19 cms.  Both have "Nehesco Regd." on the front.   The "Grandpa Brand" is from 1936 and the "Camel Brand" 1933.  Both are registered in Great Britain and The Union of South Africa.  The colours are wonderful.  These would look superb framed.

This is a fabulous card game complete and in excellent condition.  The box is damaged and torn at the top as can be seen in the pictures.  The instructions and a sheet with the rhymes are included.  A Waddington, Leeds & London card game.  The date is April, 1935.  The box describes the game as "New Card Game,  A riot of Fun - A million Laughs".
