Rare 18k Gold Chronograph with Split Second Timer Pocket
Watch c.1890 This is a fabulous & rare 18k gold cased pocket
chronograph in very good all original condition. The case is
50mm in diameter, gross weight is 82.2 grams. The winding crown has the rare feature of having
the button in the middle to stop/start the chronometer timer. The enamel dial is 43mm in diameter and is in
excellent condition except for a minute hairline between the 8-9 which
is partially hidden by the bezel. The hour and minute hands are in
gold, the split-second hand is in blue steel as is the small minutes
hand (top dial). It has the 24 hours in red. The case is
stamped with the French "owl" mark on the stem of the winder and on the
inner cases. The case also has the number 6165. The movement is

Parkinson & Frodsham Silver Half Hunter fully
hallmarked with Silver Albert c.1889
A superb and extremely rare silver cased half hunter
pocket watch by Parkinson & Frodsham, fully hallmarked. This
half hunter pocket watch is in very good all original condition and
working order. The enamel dial 40 mm in diameter, signed 'Parkinson &
Frodsham, London' and is in excellent condition. The silver
case is hallmarked 'London 1889'. The movement is fully signed
'Parkinson & Frodsham, Change Alley, Cornhill, London' with the serial
number 6872. The serial number is also on the case. It comes with
a fully hallmarked silver Albert in good condition. It is
hallmarked 1897 with the maker's mark 'H.A. & S'. The chain is 34
cm long with graduated links. The links are also hallmarked
although the marks have worn.

Parkinson & Frodsham were renowned for the finest
quality movements and are an important part of the history of the London
watchmakers.
PARKINSON & FRODSHAM Change Alley London (founded 1801)
The
firm of Parkinson and Frodsham produced some of the finest pocket
watches. William Parkinson of which little is known is believed to
have gone to London from Prescott. This is a place where he would have
learnt the skills of a watch/chronometer maker. William James Frodsham
came from the well known family of horologists and at the age of 23
years he went into partnership with Parkinson. They built a successful
business in Change Alley and Frodsham had ten children of whom six
became watchmakers.

A Rare French Vernis-Martin Pocket Watch Holder Vitrine c.1880
A rare French pocket watch holder with Vernis-Martin panels in very
good all original condition. The panels depict three different
scenes of cherubs playing. The front door panel shows 2 cherubs on a
cloud, the left panel shows three cherubs with fishing, the right panel
shows three cherubs, one holding a dove, one with staff and the 3rd with
an urn. The top, back and front skirting is light gold velvet. The
inside is lined with the same gold velvet with the inside of the door
lined with silk. The door handle is hand painted in enamel, there
is a minute hairline in the enamel which is hardly noticeable.
Each window has bevelled glass. There is a water stain on the back
and on the inside of the door on the silk. There is a slight
scratch on the front panel, a small spot of paint loss on the middle
cherub on the right pane as can be seen in the pictures. The
vitrine is 7.4 cm high x 9 cm wide x 10 cm deep (6
¾" high x 3½" x 4" deep).
It is rare to find such a wonderful item in such good condition.

An 8 Day Goliath Enamel Dial Pocket Watch With Silver Case c.1903 A goliath
chromed case pocket watch in very good condition and working order.
It is in a superb wood case embellished with a silver front, fully
hallmarked Birmingham 1903. The case is lined with green velvet
which has some wear, and is 11.4 cm x 10 cm x 3.2 cm deep and has a
replacement back stand. The enamel dial (55mm) has a couple of
hairlines which are hardly noticeable to
the naked eye as can be seen in the pictures. The
chromed case is approx. 6.5 cm (65mm) in diameter excluding the winder x
approx. 2 cm (20mm) thick. The inside of the case is signed 'Argentan,

The case is 4.8 cm in diameter. The dial is 3.6 cm in diameter and
has 2 hairline from the centre to 12 o'clock and from the centre to 1
o'clock . There is a small ding on the edge of the case near the
winder. The inside case is hallmarked. The back of the case is inscribed
and dated.

Limit Gold Plated Half Hunter Pocket Watch c.1910 A Swiss
half hunter gold plated pocket watch in good condition and working
order.
The white enamel dial is in excellent condition and has black Roman
numerals and is signed ‘Limit, Swiss Made’. The movement has a 7 jewel
Swiss lever escapement, Swiss Made. The winder is also used to set the
time by pulling it out gently.
The outer case is marked Star #316819 and has some wear on the outside
which does not detract. The dust cover is also marked and numbered with
the same number. The case closes well as does the front and the dust
cover. It is 5 cm in diameter excluding the winder.

Amrok Gold Plated Half Hunter Pocket Watch c.1920s This
Swiss made Amrok pocket watch is in good condition and working order.
The gold plated case is 5 cm in diameter (excluding the winder), there
is a slight mark on the case at the 3 o'clock and the small glass is
missing which does not detract from the overall look of the pocket
watch. There are a few marks on the back of the case which are
hardly noticeable as can be seen in the pictures. The enamel dial
is in excellent condition. The movement is signed 'Amrok, Swiss Made, 7
jewels'. The inside of the outer case is signed 'Amrok Watch Case,
NY USA # 2739397'.

A Rare French Vernis-Martin Pocket Watch Holder c.1880 A
rare and fabulous French pocket watch holder with Vernis-Martin panels
in very good all original condition. It is in the shape of a
grandfather clock with Vernis-Martin panels on the front. The
central panel has two cherubs, one on either side of the thermometer
which has the words 'Thermomètre, Reaumur,
Centigrade'. The other panels depict flowers and garlands
in very fine detail. The miniature grandfather clock holder is
30.5 cm high x 9 cm wide x 6 cm deep (12" high x
3½" wide x 2¼"
deep). The side panels and edging are beige velvet, the back is
beige silk with several stains. The thermometer is slightly
stained and there is a small mark just above it as can be seen in the
pictures but which do not detract from this superb item.
It is rare to find such a wonderful item in such good condition.

Webster Chronograph Pocket Watch c.1920s
This is a chronograph pocket watch made by
the Swiss complicated watch specialist, "Le Phare" and retailed by the
English jewellers "Webster". Dating from 1920s. It has a sterling
silver case with hinged bezel, back and inner dust cover. The back
decorated with engine turned decoration. There is a button in the centre
of winding crown which starts, stops and resets the chronograph. The
inside back is stamped with the English import hallmark corresponding to
the year 1919. The dust cover is engraved with a presentation
inscription dated 1932. The case diameter is 50.5mm.
It has a white enamel
dial 45 mm in diameter with dual registers, a subsidiary second dial and
a chronograph 30 minute register. It has black Roman numerals and
outer chronograph second chapter, divided into 5ths of a second.
It is signed, "Webster Stop Watch". It has blue steel hands. There is a
hairline crack between the centre of the bottom dial to 5 o'clock and
another near the edge at 11 o'clock, they are both hardly noticeable to
the naked eye and do not detract from the rarity of the watch.

the serial number 4142548. The silver case is fully hallmarked and the

It has subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals,
blue steel hands. Plain nickel open face case, solid body with screw on
bezel. On the back of the case a depiction of a steam locomotive in an
oval cartouche and inscribed "Winegarten's Railway Regulator". The
dial is 47 mm in diameter and the case has 58 mm in diameter.
