Mason's Bowl Jardinière Pattern
c.1850 A fabulous bowl by Mason's, Jardinière
pattern # c.2368 c. 1850. The bowl is in good condition, some
crazing from age as can be seen in the pictures and a small repair on
the back of the rim which is not noticeable from the front. The
bowl is 22.5 cm in diameter x approx. 6 cm high. The colours are
bright.

Felix the Cat original 1920s porcelain cup in excellent condition.
It portrays Kitty on a fence with Felix the Cat standing in front of
her. The writing on the cup is 'Will you walk with Felix?'
It is 4.5 cm high with a 5.3 diameter at the rim.

Sandland Ware Hiking Porcelain Pin Dish c.1944 This is a
wonderful porcelain pin dish in excellent condition. It portrays a
young man in shorts walking with a young lady wearing red shoes and a
red beret accompanied by a little black Scottie dog carrying a flower.
The young man is carrying a wooden walking stick. They are dressed
in typical 1940s fashion. The dish is 8.5 cm in diameter x 2.3 cm
high.

Humming Bird Jam or Relish Dish c.1930s This is an unusual
design porcelain jam or relish dish with lid. It has a humming
bird on the dish and a 3D humming bird on the lid. Made by
Weatherby, Hanley, Royal Falcon Ware c. 1936 +. The lid is in
perfect condition, however, the dish has 2 cracks that have been
repaired near the rim as can be seen in the pictures. These do not
detract from the look of this item. It is 11.5 cm high including
the lid.

exquisitely hand painted with cranes and lotus? flowers. An
approximate translation of the markings on the back is: Japan

Italian Ceramic Day Dreamer Frog c.1960s One fabulous lazy
frog! Just lying there, dreaming and looking up at the sky!
He is 12.9 cm high x 20 cm long x approx 20 cm wide and weighs 1 kilo.
There are a few scuff marks around his top lip and one on his right knee
which do not detract from this wonderful stylised Italian ceramic of the
60's.

Large Italian Ceramic Frog c.1960s A wonderful large Italian
ceramic frog in good all original condition. He is from a limited
edition and is numbered on the base 25/48. He is 19.5 cm
high x approx. 29 cm deep. He has a repair on his front right leg
and the end of the left back leg, there is also a thin age crack on his
right side. He weighs 1.5 kilos.

This is a superb plate with a very fine design. The colour is
bright and the plate is in good condition except for a small chip as can
be seen in the pictures. The back has 2 stamps, one "C.M. &
S, Kildare" the other is not clear. Imprinted in the glaze
is "Opaque Porcelain". The plate is 23 cms.

Galleries Lafayette Illustrated by Pierre Leconte c.1930's
This is a wonderful earthenware ceramic ashtray made for the Galleries Lafayette and
illustrated by Pierre Leconte. It is 12.6 cms x 12.4 cms with some
nicks as can be seen in the pictures. It portrays the
Marquis de Lafayette on his horse signed by P. Leconte
(Pierre
Leconte 1904-1961).
The ashtray is
in the shape of a tricorn (hat), on the
inside is "Galleries Lafayette Paris" and on the outside
"Nice-Lyon-Vichy, Nantes-Londres-Alexandrie, Aux Galleries
Lafayette". The base has the following "Saneguemines, D.V.,
France, Édition de "La Maitrise", O.V."

B. & L. Ltd. Cake Plate c.1930 This is a wonderful
cake plate in very good condition with original handle. It is hand
painted in the most wonderful colours as can be seen in the pictures.
It is 21.5 cms x 21.5 cms. The handle screws on and is 11.7 cms
high. There are a couple of hairline cracks at the edge of the
handle hole, but as there is a wide washer which takes the
strain off the centre, it does not affect the strength of the
plate. Made by Burleigh & Leigh Ltd. c.1930.

This is a stunning Royal Winton bowl with wonderful colours. It is
10 cms high x 18.5 cms and 15.5 cms x 15.5 cms at the rim. There

Superb Royal Vienna
Covered Urn/Vase c.1860-80
This is a superb Royal Vienna covered urn
or vase with a classical scene of a Lady playing a harp. It is
finely hand painted with gold leaf detail. The marks on the base
are: "5467 Ш 17.141.
3.254 3" in a circle "Alexandra Porcelain Works, Made
in Austria" in the centre of which is the Crown with "Turn" and "Royal
Vienna". It has the blue Beehive mark.
This superb vase is 17 cms high and is in excellent
condition.

The plate is signed by the artist "H.D.G." and dated 1933. The

superb creamer and sugar bowl in the finest bone china, both pieces are
in excellent condition. Made by A. B. J. & Sons of Longton,
Staffordshire. Both items are signed by the artist "H.D.G." and
dated 1933. The design is superb as can be seen in the pictures.
The bone china is translucent in the light and is very similar to
Shelley bone china. The creamer is 5.8 cms high x 12 cms
deep including spout and handle. The sugar bowl is 7.5 cms high
including lid, 8.5 cms at the rim x 4.1 cms high (excluding lid).

Superb Jar - L. & Sons Ltd. Hanley c.1900 This is a superb ceramic
jar (the lid is missing). The transfer design is of a happy village
scene. The colors are bright and fresh in excellent condition.
The pot is 13.2 cms x 13.2 cms x 12.8 cms high. It stands on 4
rounded ceramic feet. The pot is in very good condition except for
a crack on the base as can be seen in the picture which does not detract
from this wonderful piece.

Royal Cauldon Dressing Table Set c.1920s This is a superb
Royal Cauldon porcelain dressing table set in the most amazing and
stiking colour. It is in deep purple with a fabulous design of
superb birds. There are 2 containers and a ring holder. The
tray is 38 cm x 19.4 cm, it has a few scratches as can be seen
in the pictures but this does not detract from this fabulous set.
The containers are 9 cm x 10 cm high and 8 cm x 9 cm high. The
ring holder is 8.6 cm x 6.5 cm high.

Circus Sweethearts Cup & Saucer c.1924 This is a
fabulous cup and saucer by Jackson & Gosling (Grosvenor China).
The saucer is in perfect condition, the cup has a crack where the
elephant is and there is a mark next to the horse as can be seen in the
pictures. These are wonderful circus scenes, the girl
gymnast on three horses "A Fine Rider" and the lion tamer giving
her a rose "Sweethearts". The elephant is ringing his bell
"waiter". The colours are superb! This is a wonderful set
for circus collectors and lovers!

This famous pottery was established at the Grosvenor Works in King
Street, Fenton, in about 1866, succeeding Jackson & Brown (c.1864).
In 1909 the address was changed to the Grosvenor Works, Gregory Street,
Longton. The firm became a limited liability company in 1928. The
trade name 'Grosvenor China' was widelyused. In the 1932-3 period
Jackson & Gosling was acquired by W.T. Copeland & Sons Ltd"
