An early Worcester deep dish with the Royal Lily Blue pattern in fair condition.  It is 23.3 cm in diameter. There is an early repair with the staples as can be seen in the picture. This does not detract from this superb and complicated early design.

The first period of Worcester is sometimes called the Dr. Wall period after John Wall, one of the founders. Hallmarks such as the one on this dish are rarely seen and the crescent mark dates pieces to the Dr Wall period before 1776. These pieces bearing the crescent mark are rare and usually the provence of specialist collectors.

An art deco Shelley vase in the shape of a Greek urn with a superb kingfisher pattern on black background.  The birds are in vibrant colours with the interior of the vase a deep orange colour. The vase is in good condition, however there is a faint oval shaped hairline as can be seen in the picture, and near the rim an invisible hairline which can just be felt.  The vase is 18.5 cm high (7.5").  Signed on the base and numbered 412 and 8654.

A wonderful unusual Marutomo Ware butter dish in good all original condition.  Made in Japan c.1930s this ceramic butter dish is 17 cm x 13.5 cm, with the lid it is 13 cm high. There are two minute flaws on one side of the plate which are not noticeable but can be felt.  It is beautifully embossed with birds and plants.

A large bone china cup and saucer Commemorating the 60 years reign of Queen Victoria in good all original condition.  "Longest and Most Glorious Reign, Sixty Years, 1837 - 1897, Long Live Victoria". The saucer is 16 cm in diameter and is in excellent condition, a slight defect on the back which is not noticeable from the front. The cup is 10.2 cm in diameter at the rim. It has a hairline from the rim to the Unicorn's stomach.  Both cup and saucer are marked "The Foley China, England, R4 290929"

Pair of Japanese Students Ceramic Bookends c.1950

A fabulous set of ceramic bookends by Ucagco consisting of two Japanese students, the girl is reading and the boy is peering over the top of the other bookend.  They are both in very good condition.  The boy is 17 cm high and the girl is 13 cm high. A bit of red colour has faded on his back.  The black line on his base is a mark.

United China & Glass Co. Inc., dates back to 1850. Founded by Abe Mayer and originally called Abe Mayer & Co., the importer did business throughout the Southeast U.S. as well as Central and South America. In the 1930s that the company took on the official trademark of UCAGCO and began expanding overseas. After WWII, the company’s agent in Japan, S.A. Stolaroff signed the very first contract allowing imports from Japan. A talented ceramic designer himself, Stolaroff worked alongside many Japanese potteries to lead the company’s line of ceramics. They were the distributor of many Japanese china patterns during the early 1950s. In 1956, UCAGCO was sold to Sammons Enterprises.

This is a superb Royal Winton Queen Anne chintz pattern serving bowl in good condition.  It has the chromed metal edging which has a very small ding.  The bowl  is stamped & numbered on the bottom "Royal Winton Grimwades Queen Anne Made in England". There is a minute scratch just under the chromed rim as can be seen in the close-up picture, it is hardly noticeable.  The bowl is 18 cm in diameter at the rim x 11 cm high.  The bowl weighs 1kg.

A Magnificent Sitzendorf Heart Shaped Mirror With Cherubs c.1880

Magnificient 19th century Dresden porcelain Mirror made in Germany by the Sitzendorf factory.  It is in very good all original condition, the flower at the base is slightly damaged as can be seen in the pictures, this does not detract from the overall look of this fabulous mirror. It has 2 cherubs sitting at the top of the heart holding a garland of flowers. The heart is surrounded by a garden with delicate flowers. The mirror is 34 cm high (including the cherubs) x 28 cm wide. The cherub on the right has a small leaf damaged on it's head which is not noticeable to the naked eye. The beveled mirror has a few small loss of silver marks around the edge as can be seen in the picture.  (the black mirror is just to hide the reflections.) The colours are wonderful and the pictures cannot do it justice.

This is a wonderful rare James Hadley vase beautifully painted with yellow roses. There is moulding to the just above the base and on the shoulder of the miniature vase which has a short flared neck. It has the Hadley's Worcester stamp on the base with the pattern number  F112/10 which dates it to 1902. It is in  good condition except for the neck which was broken and repaired at some point as can be seen in the pictures.  It is 9.5 cm high.

This dish has a striking and unusual design which is between the Art Nouveau and the Art Deco era.  By  Bourne & Leigh Ltd. (1892 - 1941) in the late 1920s, it has  'Leighton, Pottery, B & L,  B' on the base with the number '4659' .   The dish is 28 mm x 25 mm in good condition.  The colours are bright, the base has slightly darkened with age on the underside as can be seen in the pictures.

A fine bone china creamer, 6.8 cm high x 8 cm deep from handle to spout.  The base is signed 'S.C. picture of a star Cg., Paragon China, Made in England, Reproduction of old Chinese'.  The old Chinese design is very bright and detailed as is the freeze in the inside of the creamer.  There is a hairline along the base as can be seen in the pictures which does not detract from the look of this superb little creamer. This would make a superb display piece.

There is a hairline crack as can be seen in the pictures which does not detract from the look of the dish.  It is white with a delicate design of birds and plants in an unusual blue colour.  The gold at the rim has faded.  The dish is 15.3 cm in diameter x 7.6 cm high.

This is a set of 3 china jugs made in France by the Faiencerie de Chauvigny c. 1930s.  They have a superb Deco design.  The large jug is 15 cm high including the lid, it is in good condition with just  a very small nick on the edge which is not noticeable; the lid is in very good condition.  The second jug is 13.5 cm high including the lid.  It is in good condition with a hairline at the edge and on the side of the base, the lid has 2 chips on the inside.  The smaller jug is 8.5 cm high, no lid.  There is a hairline and a chip at the edge and a couple of hairlines at the base.  Each jug has one panel without a design.

This is a lovely set for display.

This is a superb plate with a very fine design. The colour is bright and the plate is in good condition except for a small chip as can be seen in the pictures.  The back has 2 stamps,  one "C.M. & S,  Kildare" the other is not clear.  Imprinted in the glaze is "Opaque Porcelain".  The plate is 23 cms.

T. C. Brown-Westhead Moore & Co. Plate c.1877

This is a superb rare plate by T. C. Brown-Westhead Moore & Co.   c. 1877.  They were manufacturers of high grade earthenware and porcelain at Cauldon Place, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire c. 1862 - 1904.  The pattern is "Indian Empress"  with sunflowers and birds printed in underglaze blue.  It is a wonderful and striking blue and white design.  The marks are impressed as well as printed on the back.  The plate is 26 cms in diameter and has some chips around the edge as can be seen in the pictures.

This is a wonderful earthenware ceramic ashtray made for the Galleries Lafayette and illustrated by Pierre Leconte.  It is 12.6 cms x 12.4 cms with some nicks as can be seen in the pictures.   It portrays the Marquis de Lafayette on his horse signed by P. Leconte (Pierre Leconte 1904-1961).  The ashtray is in the shape of a tricorn (hat),  on the inside is "Galleries Lafayette Paris" and on the outside "Nice-Lyon-Vichy,  Nantes-Londres-Alexandrie,  Aux Galleries Lafayette".  The base has the following "Saneguemines,  D.V., France,  Édition de "La Maitrise",  O.V."

This is a wonderful cake plate in very good condition with original handle.  It is hand painted in the most wonderful colours as can be seen in the pictures.  It is 21.5 cms x 21.5 cms.  The handle screws on and is 11.7 cms high.  There are a couple of hairline cracks at the edge of the handle hole,  but as  there is a wide washer which takes the strain off the centre,  it does not affect the strength of the plate.  Made by Burleigh & Leigh Ltd.  c.1930.

This is a superb Royal Vienna covered urn or vase with a classical scene of a Lady playing a harp.  It is finely hand painted with gold leaf detail.  The marks on the base are:  "5467 Ш  17.141.  3.254   3" in a circle "Alexandra Porcelain Works,  Made in Austria" in the centre of which is the Crown with "Turn" and "Royal Vienna".   It has the blue Beehive mark.   This superb vase is 17 cms  high and is  in excellent condition.

J. & Sons of Longton, Staffordshire.  The plate is signed by the artist "H.D.G." and dated 1933.  The design is superb as can be seen in the pictures.  The bone china is translucent in the light and is very similar to Shelley bone china.  The plate is 24.5 cms x 24.5 cms.

J. & Sons of Longton, Staffordshire.  Both items are signed by the artist "H.D.G." and dated 1933.  The design is superb as can be seen in the pictures.  The bone china is translucent in the light and is very similar to Shelley bone china.   The creamer is 5.8 cms high x 12 cms deep including spout and handle.  The sugar bowl is 7.5 cms high including lid,  8.5 cms at the rim x 4.1 cms high (excluding lid).

J. & Sons of Longton, Staffordshire.  The bonbonnière is signed by the artist "H.D.G." and dated 1933.  The design is superb as can be seen in the pictures.  The bone china is translucent in the light and is very similar to Shelley bone china.  The bonbonnière is 12.5 cms at the rim x 7.7 cms high in excellent condition.

This is a superb ceramic jar (the lid is missing).  The transfer design is of a happy village scene.  The colors are bright and fresh in excellent condition.  The pot is 13.2 cms x 13.2 cms x 12.8 cms high.  It stands on 4 rounded ceramic feet.  The pot is in very good condition except for a crack on the base as can be seen in the picture which does not detract from this wonderful piece.

Fabulous black cat with one green and one yellow eye. Probably based on "Pussy in the Well" Nursery rhyme.  Crested China "A&S, Stoke on Trent - Arcadian, Made for W. Mills - 52 Queens Road - Brighton, rgd. No. 708645". In excellent condition, no chips. It is 6.3 cm high x 5.1 cms wide x 4.8 cm deep.  (As shown in the Goss and Crested China reference book)

This is a superb,  larger than normal, cup and saucer.  In good condition with a minute repair on the rim of the saucer.  The colours are superb russet and green.  The saucer is 17.5 cms,  the gold edge in the centre of the plate has faded in parts.  The cup has a diameter of 10.8 cms and is 6.5 cms high.  Both are have the trade marks "Boch La Louvière,  Fabrication Belge" and "Decor 838".

This is a superb 1930's 2 cup coffee pot made by Johnson Bros. England (1899-1948).  This wonderfully designed coffee pot is in good condition,  15 cms high with a superb pattern of a sun over a lake and a sailing boat.   There is a small manufacturing blemish on the handle and a couple of rough spots on the inner rim and hairline marks at the base.
