A charming vintage tin portraying the nursery rhyme “Hey Diddle-Diddle, The Cat and The Fiddle, The cow jumped over the moon,The little dog laughed to see such sport, And the dish ran away with the spoon. Beautifully lithographed the tin is in very good condition, very little rubbing on the edges and a small scratch on the side of “The little dog laughed to see such sport”.  It is 13.5 cm x 10.5 cm x 3.5 cm high.  An extremely decorative tin made in England by George Horner.

San Fransisco Cable Car Friction Engine c.1960

This is a superb example of the San Fransisco cable car in excellent all original condition and working order.  It comes from a private collection and has never been played with.  There are a few scuff marks as can be seen in the pictures but these do not detract from the wonderful condition of the cable car.  All the passengers are intact as are the perspex windows.   This is one of the first ones which were made in Japan.  It is 17.7 cm long x 8 cm high x 5.7 cm wide.

TN Nomura Tin Plate Battery Op. American Airlines Elektra II DC3 plane c.1960s

A rare American Airlines DC3 tin plate battery operated aeroplane in good condition and working order.  It is 36 cm (15") long with a 42 cm (16.5") wingspan.  The overall condition is 8/10 with a slight ding on the cockpit and a little rust on the wings.  The top is tin plate with the underneath in plastic.  The battery compartment is tin.  When switched on the inner propellers start then the outer ones, and plane moves forwards and stops as well as the propellers.  The cockpit lights up as well as the back windows.  Please keep in mind that old toys can be temperamental in their functionality

A fabulous little sweet tin by George W. Horner & Co. Ltd., Makers of Good Sweets, Chester-Le-Street, County of Durham, England.  She is carrying a parasol and a flower basket and holding her little pekingese on a lead.  It is in good all original condition, some fading on her dress as can be seen in the pictures which does not detract from the overall look of this great display piece.  It is 16.6 cm high x 10.8 cm wide at the bottom and 6 cm wide at the top x 2.5 cm deep.  The inside is marked from use.

Founded in 1907, American Flyer first got into the model railroad market with clockwork (non-electric) O Gauge trains, a cheaper alternative to its competitors at the time. They later added electric locomotives, and standard gauge tracks (called 'wide' by American Flyer). The company was bought by A.C. Gilbert, inventor of Erector toys, in 1938, and introduced S Gauge trains. But competition from incompatible Lionel O Gauge trains drove American Flyer out of business by the 1960s.

A vintage tin in good all original condition. It is in the shape of a book. It is 24 cm high  x 17 cm wide x 5.5 cm deep.  There are a few light scratches which do not detract from the overall look.  The name is 'Gourmets Delight, Victoria Holland'. This is a large tin.

This is the famous climbing monkey,  Made in the USA in mint condition on original card.  The wooden stick is 47 cms high,  Jog-O the monkey is 7.3 cms high,  tin plate with a swinging tin plate tail.  The card is 50.5 cms hig x 11.5 cms wide.

This is an interesting hard plastic cable car in very good condition. It is 16.5 cms long x 7.8 cms high x 4.5 cms wide. Embossed on either side is "Powell & Mason Sts." and on either side are stickers with "504 Cable Car, Municipal Railway San Francisco (SF)" and there are stickers on the front and back "504, Powell and Market, 3 Blocks, Bay and Taylor, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown". There is a friction motor and a bell that rings as the wheels turn.

These 3 tinplate toys are in very good all original and working condition. The lot consists of an American Airlines Boeing 727 with friction powered wheels, 12.5 cm long, made in Japan. It is in good condition and working order. A USAF Starfighter Jet with friction powered wheels in good condition and working order, 8.5 cm long.  A WWI British French & USA Biplanes Carousel in good condition and working order. This is a detailed model with 3 biplanes which have a wingspan of approximately 4.5 cm. The tower is 14 cm high with a lever at the base to set off the spinning movement.
