Zeppelin Penny Toy Germany

This is a tin plate penny toy of a Zeppelin in good all original condition.  Made in Germany by ZZ . It is 9 cm long.

Price:  £28

A typical 1960's tin in good all original condition.  It is 11.2 cm high x10.2 cm wide x 8 cm deep.  There is a bit of fading on the lid as can be seen in the pictures.  The scene is in rather stormy and dark with very colourful people walking about with umbrellas including a little girl walking her little white poodle.

C.W.S. Sample Biscuit Tin East West Home's Best 1924

This pure Art Nouveau 1924 biscuit tin measures 9 1/4" x 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". It is bright red with an embossed and coloured house nestling amongst the hills. It has a hinged lid which has a slight nick and a small split which are hardly noticeable.  The front and back have the slogan, "East West Home's Best". The base is marked C.W.S. Biscuits Free Sample. The tin has age marks as can be seen in the pictures.

This typical 1950s tin is in good condition.  Made in England by Henry Thorne & Co. Ltd., Leeds, England.   There are a few marks as can be seen in the pictures which do not detract from this lovely scene.  The little boy is out in the country with his dog (carrying a small barrel) and 2 birds in a tree.  It is 14.3 cm x 10.5 cm x 2.6 cm.

This is a fabulous tin typical of the 1950's Wild West period.  The tin is 12.6 cms.  The lid is in good condition,  a couple of small marks as can be seen in the pictures which do not detract from the superb details.  The base has most of the chrome worn off.  The tin has "Made in England by Riley Brothers, (Halifax) Ltd.,  Halifax,  England" around the edge and on the base "Rileys Toffee,  Riley Brothers Halifax".

A vintage tin in good all original condition. It is in the shape of a book. It is 24 cm high  x 17 cm wide x 5.5 cm deep.  There are a few extremely light scratches which do not detract from the overall look.  The name is 'Gourmets Delight, Victoria Holland'

Tin plate and plastic battery operated jet fighter in excellent unused condition with original box.  The box is 8/10.  Made by Son Ai Toys, Taiwan.  It has "stop and action,  blinking engine lights and engine noise,  variable sweeping wings,  window of pilot seat opening and closing automatically" as it says on the box.  The box is 35.5 cms x 9.6 cms deep x 25 cms at the widest part diminishing to 9.5 cms.

These are in unused plastic aeroplane kits.  They are in 72nd scale in their original unopened packaging.

This is a most unusual and rare toy in excellent condition.  It comes with it's original box and instructions.  It had been working but it seems to have jammed.  It is 34 cms long x 17.5 cms high x 10.3 cms deep.  The horse is covered in a thin rubber skin and walks in the most amazingly realistic manner (when it works).   It is in plastic and comes apart to fit in the box.  Made by Keun Wha Inc.  Seoul, Korea.  The box is in fair condition.

This is the famous climbing monkey,  Made in the USA in mint condition on original card.  The wooden stick is 47 cms high,  Jog-O the monkey is 7.3 cms high,  tin plate with a swinging tin plate tail.  The card is 50.5 cms hig x 11.5 cms wide.

This is a fabulous clockwork elephant made in US Zone Germany. It is in excellent condition and working order. It is 21.5 cms high. The colors are bright and there don't seem to be any scratches.

This small Meccano tin is 11.2 cm x 7.5 cm x 1.8 cm deep.  The tin is in playworn condition as can be seen in the pictures.

This is a fabulous mechanical monkey playing maracas.  It is a wound-up toy,  when you wind him up he moves around,  bends left and right and shakes his arms up and down.  He is 14.8 cm high.  He is in very good condition and working order.  Made in Japan.

A circular tin with cameos of circus scenes by Parkinsons Biscuits Ltd.   The tin has H. B. & S Ltd. Reading England on the side (Huntley Boorne & Stevens).  It is good condition with few very light scratches which are hardly noticeable.  The base and edges worn from age.  The tin is 20.3 cm in diameter x 8.5 cm deep.

This is a friction model in excellent condition.  Made in Japan.  It has "Powel & Mason Sts" on the roof.  Number 514 Minicipal Railway;  Bay and Taylor,  Powell and Market.  It is 9.4 c.s long x 3 cms wide x 3.8 cms high.

This is an interesting hard plastic cable car in very good condition. It is 16.5 cms long x 7.8 cms high x 4.5 cms wide. Embossed on either side is "Powell & Mason Sts." and on either side are stickers with "504 Cable Car, Municipal Railway San Francisco (SF)" and there are stickers on the front and back "504, Powell and Market, 3 Blocks, Bay and Taylor, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown". There is a friction motor and a bell that rings as the wheels turn.
